While Google is the main source of traffic for most websites, it would be great to get traffic in large quantities from other sources:
1. Build a mailing list. A mailing list is necessary to sustain the blog or website in the long term.
2. Having a base Solidad in social networks like Facebook or Twitter.
3. Create controversial content that causes people to act commenting, criticizing and back to get the answer.
4. Give valuable content to your readers and visitors ocasioneles so always return to your website.
5. Offer an affiliate program or encourage visits promote you somehow.
The idea is not to focus on "live" only Google.
